The craziest month of the year

For all you high school seniors, this month will probably be one of the most intense of your high school careers. You're hearing back from many schools, possibly even UNC.

Maybe you are scared, excited, overwhelmed. Or worried, restless, tense.

But even though you can't stop yourself from feeling the way you do, take a breather...

really.

Alright, ready? As you receive your decisions over the next few weeks, keep in mind: no matter where you end up, there will be opportunities for happiness, growth, and learning. Your post-grad life is not dependent upon where you go to school, but rather what you do while you're there. So no matter what happens, remember that your hard work, successes, and educational value are not defined by your admissions decisions. For many of you, I am excited that you'll be roaming the quads at UNC next fall, and I offer you my congratulations in advance. If your application is declined, always remember that you'll have more chances in the future... I know many fellow Tar Heels who can back me up on that one. ;)

Best of luck to all, and keep your chin up!
